SHIPPING POLICY

Handling Time

Handling time varies depending on the size of the order and the current workload of this small handmade business. In general, orders are processed and shipped within 3-10 business days. Custom-made items may require additional time due to the nature of personalized production.

Shipping Time

Delivery times may not always align perfectly with estimates, and patience is appreciated. Standard delivery times within Europe range from 1-7 business days, depending on the destination country.

Order Tracking

Once tracking information is received from the shipping carrier, it will be sent via email. Please allow some time for tracking details to become active.

Customs Fees

All products are shipped from within the European Union. Orders delivered within the EU will not incur customs fees. 

Unclaimed Packages

If a package is not claimed and is returned, the customer may request reshipping. Upon repayment of the shipping costs, the order will be resent. However, if no response is received within 60 days, the order will be canceled without a refund.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Responsibility is not assumed for lost or damaged packages due to incorrect shipping addresses or unclaimed deliveries. Once tracking confirms delivery, the order is considered complete. If a delivery issue is suspected, contact is encouraged to find a resolution.

Return Policy

The goal is to ensure complete satisfaction with every purchase—from browsing the website to enjoying each handcrafted item. Every interaction is handled with care, kindness, and integrity, and the same is expected from customers.

Providing accurate measurements and selecting the correct size is the customer’s responsibility. For any uncertainties, guidance and detailed sizing and measurement guide are available before placing an order.

If an item does not fit due to an incorrect size selection, an exchange or modification may be possible, but it is not guaranteed. Each case is assessed individually. Some adjustments, like shortening or reducing size, are usually simpler, while increasing size may require creating a new product from scratch. Since production takes hours or even days, such requests may be declined. Additionally, for any size modifications, all shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Return Procedure

  • Contact within 14 days: If an item is damaged or does not meet expectations, reach out within 14 days of receiving the product at info@toughlove-leather.com.
  • Customer-related issues: If a size adjustment is possible and has been agreed upon, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

Return and Exchange Conditions

  • Product condition: Returns must be in the original condition and packaging. If the item is not returned as originally received, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.
  • Wrong or damaged item: A return or exchange is available only if the wrong item, color, or a defective product was sent due to an error.
  • Misuse of the product: Damages caused by improper use are not covered.

Important Information

  • Returns are not accepted for used, personalized, or specially marked products in cases of a change of mind. For incorrect size selection, adjustments may be possible only by prior agreement, with all shipping costs covered by the customer.
  • Contact is required before returning or exchanging an item. Do not send items back without prior agreement.
  • If a courier returns a package due to failed delivery or lack of response from the recipient, the shipping cost will not be refunded.

Lifetime repairs apply to all craftsmanship. High-quality leather is a naturally durable material that, when properly maintained, lasts a lifetime. Combined with skilled craftsmanship, this ensures long-term product durability. This guarantee covers only products that have not been damaged due to improper use, excessive force, or exposure to unsuitable conditions. These items are not designed to bear heavy weights, withstand crushing pressure, or be submerged in water. Regular care, such as applying leather balm or shoe polish, helps preserve quality. The lifetime guarantee includes replacement of hardware, edge refinishing, ornament repainting, stitch repairs and more. All labor is free, with shipping and material costs covered by the customer.
